Rental policies, in plain English

The minimum age is 25. Drivers aged 21 to 24 can rent by adding one of the two Renter's Collision Protection options at checkout; there is no extra age-based fee on top of it.

Bring a valid driver's licence in the renter's name and the credit or debit card used for the booking, also in the renter's name. Cash is not accepted for the rental or the deposit.

Additional drivers are added at checkout or at the handoff with a valid licence; the same minimum age applies. Any additional-driver charge is shown before you pay. Only drivers listed on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

A $500 hold is placed on your card at pickup. It is a hold, not a charge: nothing is debited unless there is fuel, tolls, cleaning or damage not covered by your coverage to settle.

The hold is released after the vehicle is returned and checked. Your bank decides how many days it takes to show as available again.

Insurance is separate from the daily rate. You choose one of three options at checkout.

Your own policy: enter your insurer and policy number and decline our coverage. You are then fully responsible for damage to or theft of the vehicle and for any third-party claims.

Renter's Collision Protection, $1,000 deductible: $35 per day, pays collision damage to the rented vehicle up to $20,000. Renter's Collision Protection, $500 deductible: $59 per day, pays collision damage up to $35,000.

Coverage is non-refundable once purchased and applies as long as no authorized driver violates the rental agreement. Drivers aged 21 to 24 must select one of the two coverage options.

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level you received it with. A shortfall is charged from the deposit at the prevailing rate.

Or add the prepaid full tank at checkout for $99 (up to 20 gallons) and return the vehicle at any level.

A 3-day rental includes 600 miles, enough for a round trip from Miami to Key West with room to spare. The allowance for other rental lengths and the rate per extra mile are shown in your quote and in the rental agreement.

The vehicle stays on paved roads. Driving on the beach or on unmarked trails is not permitted.

Normal wear-and-tear cleaning ($40) is part of the standard price. Excessive sand, dirt or mud is $65, charged from the deposit.

The whole fleet is smoke-free: no cigarettes, cigars, vaping or drugs in any vehicle. Any charge for a violation is set out in your rental agreement.

Cancel up to 7 days before pickup for a full refund. Between 7 days and the pickup day, one day's rate is kept and the rest is refunded. No-show or no-call: no refund.

Date changes are free at any time, subject to availability of the same vehicle. The rate and total in your quote are guaranteed for 24 hours; availability is confirmed only when you pay, and at that moment the exact vehicle you booked is pulled from the fleet for your dates.

We take joint photos of the vehicle at delivery and at return, so the condition on both ends is documented with you present.

Report any accident, theft or damage to us immediately, and to the police where required. What you owe depends on the coverage option you chose; coverage does not apply to damage caused while an authorized driver was violating the rental agreement. Tolls, traffic and parking fines incurred during the rental are your responsibility; how they are billed is shown in your rental agreement.

Fort Lauderdale delivery is included: FLL airport valet, hotels and Airbnbs across Broward, and Port Everglades. Miami delivery (MIA airport, Miami hotels and PortMiami) is $100 per rental, both ways, added at checkout.

At the airports we track your flight; the text you receive on landing names the exact arrivals door and your driver waits at the curb. The handoff takes about five minutes.

Our hours are 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. For pickups or returns outside that window, text us before booking.

On top of the daily rate and any extras: taxes and fees of 12%, a Florida surcharge of $15 per rental and a highway recovery fee of about $2.67 per day. Every line is itemized in the checkout before you pay; nothing is added at the handoff.

When you give us your mobile number for a quote or a booking, you agree to receive text messages about that rental: confirmation, your driver's contact, the arrivals door when you land and the return. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. We do not send marketing texts without your separate consent, and we do not share your number with third parties for their marketing.
