01What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and run your rental:

• Contact details: name, mobile number, email address.
• Booking details: pick-up and return dates, times and locations, vehicle, flight number, hotel or address, cruise ship and terminal, extras, and the driver information required by the rental agreement (date of birth, licence number and country, additional drivers, and your insurer and policy number if you decline our coverage).
• Payment information: handled by our payment processor and our reservation system. We never see or store full card numbers; we keep the payment and deposit references they give us.
• Messages you send us by form, email, SMS or WhatsApp, and the photos taken jointly at delivery and return.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you arrived at the site (referrer, campaign tags), collected through cookies and similar technologies.

02Why we use it

To quote and confirm your rental, deliver the vehicle, contact you about your booking by SMS, email or phone, process payments and the security deposit hold, handle tolls, fines, damage and insurance claims, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and improve the site. With your separate consent, we may also send you offers; you can opt out at any time.

03Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only what each one needs:

• HQ Rental Software, the reservation and rental-agreement system that processes bookings and payments.
• Our payment processor, for the rental payment and the deposit hold.
• Our SMS and email providers, for booking messages and replies.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads, for site usage and campaign measurement, anonymised where possible.
• Toll and traffic authorities, insurers and law enforcement, when required to settle tolls, fines, claims or legal requests.

04SMS consent

When you give us your mobile number in a quote request or a booking, you consent to receive transactional text messages about that rental: confirmation, your driver's contact, the exact arrivals door when you land, and the return. Message frequency varies with your rental; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. We do not send marketing texts without your separate opt-in, and we do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their marketing.

05Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries: strictly necessary ones for the booking flow, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads) to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting your booking.

06How long we keep it

Booking and rental records are kept for as long as the law and our insurers require. Quote requests that do not become bookings are deleted or anonymised after 24 months. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard settings.

07Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and to stop marketing messages at any time. Write to us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days. If you are a resident of a state or country with specific privacy rights (for example California or the EU), those rights apply to you in full.

08Security

The site is served over HTTPS, card payments are processed by PCI DSS-compliant providers, and access to booking data is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
